1.5" White Marble Chips are a bright white natural marble aggregate in the 3/4" to 1.5" size range, with the occasional light gray vein running through. It's a decorative ground cover for garden beds, borders, pathways, and tree rings where you want a clean, high-contrast look that doesn't break down or wash out. The angular faces help it stay put better than rounded stone, and because it's marble it holds its color and shape year after year.

Why It Works

Marble doesn’t decompose the way bark mulch does, so you’re not replacing it every season. The bright white surface reflects sunlight, holds its color, and gives plant beds a clean, finished contrast that lasts. The angular chips lock together better than rounded stone, which keeps them from scattering across a bed or path.
It’s heavy enough to stay in place through wind and weather, and it lets water drain through instead of pooling on top. Put down a quality landscape fabric underneath and edge the bed, and it does the job of mulch without the yearly upkeep.
