Screened Sandy Loam is a blend of sand and organic material, screened clean of rocks, clumps, and debris. Why It Works
Loose enough to root in, solid enough to hold.
Straight fill or native Hudson Valley clay soil packs hard and drains poorly. Roots struggle to spread and water sits where it shouldn’t. Sandy loam solves both problems. The sand content keeps it loose enough to dig, rake, and plant into by hand. The organic content holds enough moisture and nutrients for new grass and plants to actually take.
