Our ITEM 4  (NYS Spec Type 2) is highly compactable and used to create all types of compact bases, pads, or foundations where a high compaction material is needed. As the staple base product, Item 4 has a wide range of uses including  building and maintaining roads, driveways, parking lots, walking paths, subbase under structures and backfilling trenches. Item 4 will hold compaction in both wet and dry conditions and will provide a strong foundation for the long term. This product is also known as Crusher Run, DGA, or QP
