Ice & Road Control
Aden Ice Control Grit
Also known as: Anti-Skid, Traction Grit, Winter Sand, Abrasive Grit
Aden Ice Control Grit is a coarse, angular abrasive spread on snow and ice to give you traction. It is built for Hudson Valley winters, on roads, parking lots, driveways, and walkways where footing and tires need grip. Unlike salt, it does not melt ice; it sits on top of the surface and gives you something to dig into.

Why It Works
Angular grit that bites into ice.
The grip comes from the shape. The grit is angular, so the rough edges press into packed snow and ice and give tires and feet something to hold. That mechanical traction is the whole point – it works on contact, no waiting for anything to dissolve.
It also keeps working when salt quits. In a deep Hudson Valley cold snap, de-icers slow down or stop melting altogether. Grit does not care about the temperature. As long as it is on the surface, it is doing its job, which is why town crews and lot managers keep it on hand alongside salt.
